MDRT’s Chung is coming

Friday January 9 2004, has been declared “MDRT Day.” To mark this occasion, Adelia Chung, 1st Vice President of the Million Dollar Round Table will be visiting Trinidad and Tobago as a guest of the Trinidad and Tobago arm of the MDRT.  Also carded to speak at this event are Guardian Life’s Agency Manager, Dale Mc Leod and Clico’s Agency Manager Neil Jones both MDRT Top of the Table qualifiers and Life Members. Adelia has been an MDRT member since 1983.  In that time, she qualified 11 times for Court of the Table (COT) and five times for Top of the Table (TOT). 

A Platinum Knight and past MDRT foundation President, she has served on numerous MDRT committees and task forces, including two Deputy Vice President positions and the TOT Advisory Board.  Involved in the industry, she is a former President of the Hawaii Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (AIFA), as well as a former Treasurer of the Life Underwriters Political Action Committee.  Adelia is also active in her community, working with the Hawaii Bone Marrow Registry and the Ronald Mc Donald House.  Adelia and her husband, Stephen Dung, founded Alana Dung Research Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting scientific research and improving the quality of life for children with serious illnesses.

She will address MDRT members and aspiring members at the ballroom of the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Friday January 9 2004 starting at 9 am.
