Several crimes, one sentence?

THE EDITOR: I wrote this solution over five years ago on how to reduce crime.

It is so simple —
If the laws need to be changed then change them. Do not have concurrent sentences — If you commit five crimes you do five consecutive sentences one after the other. Have a special arrangement put in place for first time offenders to rehabilitate them into productive citizens. After the backlog of habitual criminal cases have been cleared up and I bet it would (knowing you have all that time to make), institute a system like the US. Three strikes and you are out of society for life (violent crimes, robbery, etc). After five years you would see the difference, even if it means more jails let’s do it — if you seriously want to take back TT from the criminals. I do not understand how a person can commit separate crimes and do one sentence — it just does not add up. Seasons Greetings to all your readers.
