Sealy, Delaney advance to Under-18 tennis ‘sem’

SIMEON SEALY and Brittany Delaney advanced to the boys and girls semi-finals of the RBTT Junior Tennis Tournament with contrasting victories at the PSA Tennis Facility, St James yesterday. Sealy, who was the runner-up to veteran Ivor Grazette at the National Champion-ships last weekend, won a tight first set against David Elder 7-5 but stormed to victory in quick time, taking the second set 6-1. Delaney was in a no-nonsense mood versus Deirdre Richardson, powering her way to a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Semi-final action will take centre stage today in the Under-10, Under-12, Under-14, Under-16 and Under-18, in both the boys and girls categories.
