TT footballer in London cocaine bust

Trinidad and Tobago footballer Adrian Narine is in a London, England jail awaiting trial for possession of cocaine.

According to information, Narine was nabbed at Heathrow Airport earlier this month, and has been charged for having three kilos of cocaine in his possession. He has not been granted bail, and is due to appear in court on January 6. Narine, a midfielder/striker has been a member of the national squad, apart from playing with Joe Public, Caledonia AIA and later Arima Fire.
