Noise over Mason Hall
THE EDITOR: I am certain that it is not necessary for aircraft departing Crown Point International Airport to fly over Mason Hall, Tobago. During the last few years as tourism has mushroomed in Tobago so has noise pollution from air traffic. Cannot the Air Traffic Controller at Crown Point direct aircraft out over the sea as they depart the airport so that sleepy villagers are left undisturbed? There isn’t any aerial sight-seeing to be done in the dark over Mason Hall.
