Cuba edge TT U-23s 1-0 again
HAVANA: Cuba senior football squad won their second successive match against the visiting Trinidad and Tobago Under-23 (Olympic) team, again by a 1-0 margin, at the Estadio Pedro Marrero on Wednesday night. Striker Maikel Galindo got the winner for the hosts in the 55th minute. Trinidad and Tobago’s Olympic squad are in final preparations for the 2004 CONCACAF Men’s Pre-Olympic Tournament from February 2-12 in Guadalajara, Mexico, while Cuba, under technical director Miguel Company, is scheduled to play Cayman Islands in a home-and-away first round World Cup Qualifying Series.
