Sensei Williams to write on TT karate development
Sensei Darryl Williams, technical director for the Trinidad and Tobago Karate Alliance and chief instructor for The Karate Centre will be attending the TTKU National Championships while in Trinidad this weekend for seminars.
His main purpose is to observe the event in preparation for an upcoming article for some major international karate magazines including American Samurai. The focus of the article is the developments and future of TT Karate. He would be interviewing a number of established local instructors also.
Sensei Williams, who is based in New York, USA would be meeting with prospective schools who wish to be part of a National Martial Arts expo in Trinidad later on in the year. He would be leaving for Osaka, Japan after leaving Trinidad and then return home to New York. Accompanying Sensei Williams is Sensei Heribertoi Sepulveda, President of Shuko-Kai -New York.
