PRINCETON UNIVERSITY began their two-match tour of Trinidad on a winning note on Tuesday with a 14-10 victory over a Trinidad and Tobago Select team at the Savannah III Grounds, Queen’s Park Savannah. The national team, featuring members of the Under-19 and U-23 outfits, held the American Ivy League students to a goalless score at the halftime interval. But the Americans showed a greater effort in the second stanza, as they secured the win against the local lads. Both teams face off again today at the Savannah III Grounds.
