Santa Cruz man chopped to death

A Santa Cruz man was chopped to death yesterday following a dispute with another man over a television set. Police said Ian Phillip reported that his television set had been stolen by a man. The report was lodged at the Santa Cruz Police Station. Police reportedly warned a man that he was a suspect in the theft of the television. Shortly after the police intervention, Phillip was chopped to death.
