Two Bajan captains held

Coast Guard vessel TTS Crown Point yesterday intercepted and detained two Barbados registered fishing vessels, unlawfully fishing in waters under Trinidad and Tobago’s jurisdiction. Both vessels had a quantity of fish on board. The fishing vessels were escorted to the Coast Guard base in Tobago and handed over to local authorities. The captains of both vessels were charged and remanded in custody. They will appear before a Magistrate tomorrow.
