Dog causes Bus Route crash

Peter Herrera, 40, of  L’Anse Mitan Road, Carenage, was heading in an easterly direction on the PBR on Tuesday night when he swerved to avoid hitting a dog which was crossing the road. Unfortunately, he struck the dog, his car turned over and Herrera ended up crashing through the windscreen of  his car. He landed on the shoulder of the road. He was rushed to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital by an Emergency Health Services ambulance where he was warded up to press time. Constable Brown of the Besson Street Police Traffic Department is investigating.
