Robinson is Man of the Year
FORMER President Arthur NR Robinson has been named “Man of the Year 2003” by the International Board of Research of the American Bio-graphical Institute. This is in recognition of the part he played in establishing the International Criminal Court (ICC). The Court was inaugurated at The Hague in the Netherlands last year, when 18 judges took the oath of office in the presence of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan. Trinidad and Tobago’s Karl Hudson-Phillips is a judge of the Court. President Robinson is widely regarded as the “father of the International Court.”
