Nicholson sisters much improved

Pamela and Pat  Nicholson were yesterday afternoon reported to be in a much improved condition at the Scarborough General Hospital where they are recuperating from surgery after they were both stabbed during an apparent robbery attempt at their Mt Pleasant home Tuesday night. “They are recovering quite nicely, they are much improved,” a relative, who spent some time in “lively” conversation with them yesterday, told Newsday. Pat, a former secondary school teacher, was reportedly up and about and enjoyed a home-cooked meal of pelau.


Sister Pam, former Tobago West MP and NAR Government Minister, was however, still a little guarded, Newsday was told.  The sisters were stabbed by an intruder during an incident at their home around 8.15 pm Tuesday. Pam was stabbed when she  intervened to rescue Pat, who was being stabbed by an an intruder. Pat was then able to escape and call for help.
