Man held for Moruga dad’s murder
EIGHT months after 41-year-old Lincoln Teesdale was murdered, a 22-year-old man appeared before a Princes Town Magistrate yesterday charged with his murder. Gabriel Daniel, of Railway Road, Princes Town, appeared before Magistrate Jai Narine charged with allegedly stabbing Teesdale in the chest during an argument on July 23, 2003. Teesdale, a father of three, of Fifth Company Village, Moruga, succumbed to his injury six days later at San Fernando General Hospital. Daniel was reportedly among 60 persons picked up by Southern and South-Western Division police following weekend anti-crime raids.
