Teens held in stolen car after high-speed chase

OFFICERS of the Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) intercepted a stolen car and arrested three teenagers minutes after the vehicle was reported stolen, yesterday morning. Up to last night, the youthful suspects, all aged 17, from Arouca, Cascade and Tunapuna, were being interrogated at the Marabella Police Station for their involvement in the theft of a white Nissan Bluebird worth $19,000. The car was stolen sometime after 10 pm on Monday, when the owner parked it in front his home at Bazilon Street in Tunapuna and retired to bed.
