Scotiabank makes new appointments

Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Pasquale (Pat) Minicucci to the Board of Directors, replacing Claude Norfolk, effective May 26, 2004. Minicucci is Senior Vice-President, International Banking, Caribbean Region, responsible for the Bank’s operations in Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, The Netherlands Antilles, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos and the U.S. Virgin Islands. He joined Bank of Nova Scotia in 1997, in Montreal, Canada and has held various positions of increasing responsibility in retail banking and small business operations. 

Most recently, he was Senior Vice-President, Toronto Region, responsible for the greater Toronto area. Minicucci has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in marketing from McGill University and is a graduate of the advanced management program from the Harvard Business School, Harvard University. Audley L. Walker was also appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Limited on May 26, 2004. He replaces Ronald A. Chan, who retired from the Boards of Directors of Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Limited and Scotiatrust and Merchant Bank Trinidad and Tobago Limited on May 23, 2004.

Mr. Walker has served on these boards since May 28, 1987 and is the retired Managing Director of West Indian Tobacco Company Limited. He serves on several Boards of Directors including the Development Finance Limited.
