RBTT and Feel create $100,000 Poverty Alleviation partnership

In furtherance of its corporate philanthropy, RBTT has established a Poverty Alleviation Fund of $100,000 for disbursement by the Foundation for the Enhancement and Enrichment of Life (Feel). In its ongoing efforts to build communities, RBTT has entered into an agreement with Feel in which the Foundation will disburse money from the RBTT funds to individuals and families proven to be in great financial need, having suffered tremendous loss through uncontrollable circumstances such as fire or flood. “Special consideration will be given to impoverished single-parent households, mentally or physically challenged persons and accident victims,” said Clive Pantin, Chief Executive Officer of  Feel. “Feel is pleased to work with RBTT in assisting the less privileged persons in our communities,” Pantin added.

Funds will be allocated for home refurbishment or construction, the purchase of equipment and supplies to support education efforts, and for the purchase of food and other necessities. “RBTT is committed to contributing to the alleviation of poverty and to the social development and enhancement of communities in which we operate. This unwavering commitment is how the RBTT name has come to be synonymous with initiatives designed to touch and improve the lives of the people we serve,” said Lyndon Guiseppi, RBTT Bank Ltd Deputy Managing Director. Guiseppi added: “Through this partnership with Feel, donations will be granted to the disadvantaged of our society, thereby enabling their self-development.”
