Cops seek identity of headless corpse
POLICE officers yesterday appealed to members of the public for assistance in identifying the body of the headless corpse found at Maryland Hill, Morvant, on Saturday afternoon. The corpse of the woman was clad in a short denim skirt and multi-coloured top.
The woman may have had a cane-row hairstyle because of several pieces of hair found near the body. Yesterday, Snr Supt Waldron Bishop, the head of the North Eastern Division told Newsday that the police have no leads in the murder. He added that police investigators are now trying to find out from members of the public if any of their relatives or friends are missing. Anyone with information can contact the Morvant Police or the Homicide Bureau.
