Two injured in crash

A Caroni man and a Maloney woman suffered spinal injuries in an accident at Golden Grove Road yesterday. Reports revealed that Calvin Patrick was driving his car east on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway around 9 am yesterday, when on reaching the Golden Grove Road, he attempted to turn right. The car skidded off the road and crashed into a light pole, injuring Patrick and passenger Cindy Lashley. Patrick and Lashley were rushed to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital where they remain warded.
