Bias continues for Trinis with GATE age ban

No American has ever called me a c-----.

We have been discriminated against on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, disability.

We can now add age to this growing list, taking into consideration the Government Assistance for Tuition Expenses’ over-50 years of age restriction.

I strongly believe this restriction should be deleted. The country will surely will benefit.

Life can be so unfair at times.

Opportunities come late for some and never for others. I believe in better late than never.

Remember that age brings reason.

Let us hope this latest discrimination is not the straw that breaks the camel’s back
