In a release, the Commission said the names of these persons were published in all three daily newspapers in May.

Harvey Borris of the San Juan/Laventile Regional Corporation; Agriculture Society President Dhano Sookhoo and Etienne Mendez of the National Carnival Commission and former Congress of the People (COP) candidate Sharon Gopaul McNicol are included in this group of persons.

The Commission referred to Section 11 (7) and (8) of the Integrity in Public Life Act, which gives it the ability to file an ex parte application.

The Commission also advised all persons in public life that all outstanding Declarations of Income, Assets and Liabilities and Statements of Registrable Interests must be submitted to it “without further delay.
