Padarath: Cazabon exhibit an insult

Padarath, who worked at the Office of the Prime Minister under former prime minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, alleged the Cazabon exhibition was another example of Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley’s “frolic at taxpayers’ expense.” He called on the Prime Minister to say how many lives he expects to be enriched by attending the Cazabon exhibition since the majority of citizens are more concerned with the real day-today issues affecting the nation.

He said Rowley’s address at the opening of the exhibition was reminiscent of “the emperor without clothes oblivious to the plight of the ordinary citizen while he continues to splurge at taxpayers’ expenses.” Padarath said the country needed real results and leadership at this time and “is not one bit interested in the frivolity of wine and cheese exhibitions.”
