The main goal in this case is to give back to the youth in our society– not via charity but by a chance to succeed as well.
In 2009 this Tenesia was offered a position at the credit union as a Customer Service Representative and easily and admirably worked her way up the success ladder to Administrative Officer – Loans and Customer Service in 2012 Her love and commitment to the credit union movement became very profound when she graduated as a Caribbean Development Educator (CaribDE) held in Dominica in 2012 and returned as a mentor for the Third Youth CaribDE Programme.
In this area, Tenesia remained focused on youth and has been developing a curriculum for working with children, one that builds on the international cooperative principles, expounds the legislative and regulatory landscape, good governance practices and the current financial climate along with its impact on Caribbean Credit Unions.
