Fatima oust Royalians in SSFL Intercol

In their rescheduled Coca Cola-sponsored Boys Zonal Intercol quarter-final game, Fatima needed kicks from the penalty spot to prevail 5-4, after the match ended 1-1 after regulation time.

Fatima will now turn their attention towards their semi-final clash against St Anthony’s on Wednesday.

Also yesterday, Mason Hall booked a spot in the semi-final phase of the Tobago Zone with a narrow 3-2 victory over Scarborough at the Mt Pleasant Ground.

Zonal Intercol Quarter Final action got underway on Wednesday with action in the South and North Zone.

In the South Zone, both Moruga and Pleasantville recorded 1-0 victories over Siparia West and Point Fortin East respectively.

And, in the North Zone, Diego Martin North strolled past Blanchisseuse 4-1 while Tranquillity brushed aside Diego Martin Central 3-1.

Attention will turn to the Central Zone today, with a trio of matches set to take place.

Presentation Chaguanas will battle Couva East at Carapichaima School Ground, Gasparillo will face Tabaquite at Edinburgh 500 in Chaguanas, and Chaguanas North will square off against Miracle Ministries at Couva East School Ground.

Today’s matches will each kick off at 3.30 pm.
