Allyson Brown to chaperone TT’s Miss World in China

Trinidad and Tobago’s representative at the upcoming Miss World Competition in Sanya, China will not be alone for much longer. With the help of the Ministry of Culture and Minister Joan Yullie-Williams choreographer Allyson Brown left Trinidad yesterday to join Keneisha Thom. Thom has created history in the competition being one of two finalists to qualify in three categories so far.  Together with Miss Australia, Thom qualified for the Miss Talent competition after placing third in the Swim Suit and Fitness competition. This has placed Miss TT in very good stead with the “beauty investors” who have her in seventh place behind the likes of USA, Peru, Brazil; China, Thailand and India.

Brown has been Thom’s tutor for the talent segment, together they have created a Bele Dance along with her costume made out of 60 yards of white silk. The Miss Talent competition is the third of five “fast-track” events. On November 23 the “Top Fashion Model” will take place and then the scholarship winner will be announced during the “U-Decide” special on November 26. Miss World finals will come off on December 4 and things are looking very good for Thom. She is said to be confident and positive as well as popular with the other contestants.
