Big wins for ‘Gustine’, Signal Hill, Speyside

Yesterday, St Augustine crushed Toco Secondary 8-0 in the East Zone while on Monday, Signal Hill showed their quality also recording a convincing 8-0 win over Roxborough Secondary in the Tobago Zone to advance to the semifinals.

Six players found their names on the scoresheet for Signal Hill as Ronaldo Samuel (12th, 34th) and Che Richards (51st, 88th) both scored twice, while Nathan Cadiz (1st), Nkosi Chance (49th), Tyreke Alfred (55th), and Jabari Mc- Milan (62nd). In another Tobago match yesterday, Speyside slammed Pentecostal Light and Life 8-0.

In the North Zone yesterday, Malick got past Maple Leaf 6-1, while Trinity East trounced Five Rivers 5-0. Today Fyzabad will play Pleasantville at Mahaica Oval from 3 pm, while Naparima will battle Moruga at 5 pm at the same venue.

In the North Zone today St Anthony’s plays Fatima at St Mary’s Ground from 3.30 pm.
