Rowley: I have nothing more to say

HOUSING MINISTER Dr Keith Rowley yesterday declined to say whether or not he has been interviewed by forensic investigators attached to the Canadian firm, Intelysis Corporation. The firm has been hired by the Integrity Commission to investigate allegations that materials from the Scarborough Regional Hospital Project were diverted to the Landate project in Mason Hall, Tobago, which is owned by Rowley’s family. When contacted, Dr Rowley said: “I have said all that I need to say on that matter.”

The Minister further indicated that he had not seen reports in the media about Intelysis Corporation interviewing other persons about the allegations in question and therefore he could not comment about it. NH International Caribbean Limited (NHIC), principal contractor on the Scarborough Hospital and a subcontractor on Landate, chairman Emile Elias said his company was fully cooperating with an Integrity Commission investigator on this matter. Rowley has maintained that he is innocent of all charges against him and welcomed all investigations into the matter.
