Dumas still in hospital

On Wednesday, family members dismissed reports that Dumas had suffered a mild stroke, noting that his condition was still being analysed by doctors at the institution.

Yesterday, sources within the family circle told Newsday that the family met with doctors on Wednesday evening and his condition continues to be monitored.

The source said that while the symptoms being experienced by Dumas is associated with a mild stroke, Doctors have not given any assessments affiliated with a stroke.

He said that while Dumas was also unable to speak for a few days, his speech has begun to get clearer and he is responding positively to the treatment.

He (the source) noted that while family members continue to be mum on the situation for the sake of privacy, they are indeed hoping for a speedy recovery.

Newsday was told that Dumas complained of feeling unwell on Monday evening at his Plymouth family home and as a result was rushed to the hospital.
