13 arrested for drunk driving

Fifty-eight motorists were tested, with 13 being arrested for driving under the influence.

The 13 were expected to appear in the magistrates’ courts on Monday to answer DUI charges. Police on mobile patrol along West Bayshore Road last Friday discovered a black plastic bag containing three packets of marijuana.

The drug weighed 1.68 kilograms. No one was arrested. In another exercise last Friday night Marabella and St Margaret’s police targetted several drug dens but made no arrests.
