Cancer awareness fashion show
K Models Training School/Agency will host the show and part proceeds will be donated to The Cancer Walk for Jesus (CWFJ) which is a registered NGO (non governmental organisation).
The NGO’s mission is to give moral and financial support to victims of cancer.
The three lines of clothing to be presented at the event will MX Prime come from Kerron and Marcel Designs, Kerby Young and Richard Young, and Dellie’s Fashion Boutique.
Live entertainment will come from N 3 Wave, Joann Lee Cock, Jenesia Claxton, Orange Sky, Professor Chris (instrumental), Kareem Rice, Darius Thomas and reigning Road March champ MX Prime.
Gayelle, The Channel will also carry the show live.
Tickets for this event cost $150.
Nathalia Lee who was healed from the disease six years ago, stated that CWFJ’s financial support comes from its annual walk.
“Our goal this year is to purchase a prosthesis leg for Chef Leontyne Cooper and to donate some finances to two families who lost their breadwinner from cancer,” she said in a media release..
Later this year the “walk” will be held on Saturday, September 23, at the Queen’s Park Savannah, (opposite TGIF) at 7.30 am.
