Boatswain, Heath win Atlantic 3K road race

Boatswain of Arima Boys Government, who is 13 years old, won the boys category in a time of 11 minutes, 2.2 seconds (11:02.2), in a race that began at Holy Faith Convent, Penal and ended at Penal Hindu School. Josiah St Clair of Brighton AC was second in 11:08.5, while Nyah Davis of Mt St George Methodist (Tobago) claimed bronze in 11:10.3.

Heath, 12, of Valencia South Government stopped the clock in 13:23.7 to win gold comfortably in the girls category. Christie Marie Maharaj of Pine Haven SDA grabbed silver in 13:40.8 and Genicia Wellington of Grosvenor Presbyterian took bronze in 14:45.5.
