Republic Bank clinch CariFin All Fours hat-trick

In the final, ANSA Financial Services were represented by Aprill Lewis and Simone Kelly, while Vernon Gonsalves and Kijana King played for Republic Bank. Gonsalves and King came out victorious.

Republic Bank captain Gonsalves said, “The competition is always of a high standard and sometimes the cards just go our way. We have some experience people and then every year it becomes harder and harder for us to win.” ANSA Financial Services burst into celebration for their second place achievement, a vast improvement from fifth place in 2016. It is only ANSA’s second year in the CariFin Games, as they celebrated Lewis and Kelly for winning their game in the final and their second place overall.

“I am very happy with the results,” said Catherine Rocke, ANSA Financial Services team captain.

“I think it was a good game, we did very well but it was unfortunate that a little mistake cost us the first place spot. I am very proud of my team.”
