Pay ex-police money owed
A temporary monthly salary, travel allowance and a gratuity payment at the end of the threeyear period were in out contract.
During the period, there was no adjustment to our temporary salary and the travel allowance and as such we completed the contract without any increase in payments.
Since our contract ended in 2015, we are aware the documentation process to pay outstanding monies to us was prepared and submitted to the relevant authority by our very caring acting Commissioner of Police Stephen Williams. However, we understand the paysheet has been at the office of the Chief Personnel Officer (CPO) for an extremely long time and it is not being dealt with.
We are therefore kindly asking the CPO to attend to the paysheet so we can be paid our long outstanding monies, just like the thousands of public servants who received their back pay many times, while we retirees are still waiting to be paid.
