Bravo, Ramdin guide TKR to easy win

Bravo struck 72 and Ramdin cracked an unbeaten 70 as the Knight Riders scored 179 for four batting first at the Queen’s Park Oval in St Clair, on Monday night.

Bravo slammed six fours and four sixes in a 46- ball knock, while Ramdin’s 43-ball innings comprised eight fours and three sixes.

Knight Riders fast bowler Ronsford Beaton, playing for the TT XI, grabbed 2/31 in four overs.

In reply, Akeil Cooper and Amir Jangoo scored 33 not out and 31 respectively to lead the TT XI to 147/6 in 20 overs.

Knight Riders Bangladeshi off-spin bowler Mehidy Hasan snatched 2/21 in three overs.

TKR will play the opening match of the CPL against St Lucia Stars in St Lucia on Friday, at 9 pm.

After the opening match, the Knight Riders will play five matches at the Queen’s Park Oval between Monday and August 14.
