Thank you Amalgamated employees

From Monday to Friday, in hot sun and rain, public holiday or otherwise, Mr Phillip and Mr Vialva, employees of Amalgamated Sanitation, faithfully turn out for work, one driving and the other picking up our disposable waste.

They are so committed to their jobs that garbage is usually collected between 6 am and 6.15 am in Mt Hope. To use a local colloquialism - “they do not stick”.

It is also a pleasure interacting with them.

They are excellent examples of the potential of our people to do great things. They work very, very hard..

Gentlemen, your efforts have not been ignored and, we, the burgesses whom you serve, will always be grateful to you. Thank you.
