Marking 200 years of QPS sale
Citizens for Conservation with the assistance of the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands and Fisheries – Horticultural Services Di- vision commemorated the milestone with a tree planting initiative on August 19, which highlighted the event and raised awareness on the significance of this green space.
The British High Commission said it is extremely pleased to have been part of this event, and is especially fond of the pupleheart tree provided by Citizens for Conservation, which has been planted on the Western side of the Queen’s Park Savannah in the vicinity of the All Saints’ Church.
