Crime does pay, it seems

“The continued use of the pail system in the cells was of serious safety, health and sanitary concerns, affecting the inmates…” was the concern of the Minister of National Security.

The Government would therefore be dishing out approximately $53,000 per inmate to make sure there is no threat to their lives as it appears that conditions are life-threatening.

How unfortunate that Haleema Mohammed was not an inmate to benefit from the proposed expenditure. Perhaps the adage “crime does pay” is a truism.
