Cops arrest 15

FIFTEEN persons were arrested and 29 warrants executed during an exercise carried out by officers of the Central Div-ision, Court and Process Section on Friday. The exercise was led by Insp Ashton Clarke. Reports revealed that around 4 am on Friday, officers executed search warrants and arr-ested 15 persons for a series of offences including rape, robberies and outstanding warrants. In another exercise carried out by the St Clair Police on Friday, 15 tickets were issued for various traffic off-ences. Officers led by Ag Sgt Ajith Persad and including Cpl Mahabir and PC Yearwood, Edoo and others carried out the exercise at Saddle Road, Maraval.
