Police hunting Carenage bandits
CARENAGE police are looking for a man who stole a $15,000 gold chain from the roof of a resident’s house. According to a report, while doing some work on his house at Crown Trace home in Carenage at 7.30 pm last Friday, Verald Heston, 54, placed his chain on the eastern side of the galvanise roof. He forgot about it and returned next morning at 7.30 am, but it was gone. A report was made to the Carenage police, and a suspect is currently being sought. PC Julien is investigating.
In an unrelated matter, police are investigating a robbery at Club Tsunami in Chaguaramas on Glorious Saturday, March 26. According to reports, Ayana George, 25, of Opal Drive, El Dorado Gardens, was leaving the club at 3.30 am, when she was accosted by three armed men. One grabbed her hand and the other snatched her purse containing a phone valued $1,750, TT$80, and other valuables. A report was made five days later to the Carenage Police Station.
