Four held in Petit Valley

FOUR Petit Valley men will appear before a Port-of-Spain magistrate later this week to be charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition. According to reports, Cpl Nicome and PCs Billingy, John and Samuel were on routine patrol around 2 am along Ravine Trace, Petit Valley, when they noticed a car with four men acting suspiciously. They stopped the car and searched its occupants. A Rugger pistol and nine rounds of 9mm ammunition were found. Police believe the men were about to execute a robbery when they were held. The men ages 17, 21 and 23,  all live in the Petit Valley area.
