Arima students removed from NEC exams
Fifty-nine students from the Arima Senior Comprehensive school were withdrawn from sitting the NEC examinations (craft and technical studies) which take place within the next two weeks. “They were registered by the principal, and then they were withdrawn,” one NEC employee told Sunday Newsday. He added that the NEC was trying to steer youths in the right direction. “I want to know what the parents will do. “We are still sending out their slips,” he said. He said he could not understand why they would be denied an opportunity to further their lives.
