Cocorite man shot playing with gun
A Cocorite man is now warded at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital in a stable condition after being shot in the mouth while playing with a gun. His friend, an 18-year-old who was with him at the time of the shooting, is on the run. According to reports, the injured man and teen were in a house playing with a gun at 1.30 pm, when it went off and the older man was hit by a bullet. He was rushed to the hospital, while his friend ran off. Police cordoned off the area and made several unsuccessful attempts to find the teen. Sgt Dan of the St James Police Station is investigating.
