DOMA says stop the madness

THE Downtown Owners and Merchants Association (DOMA) is calling on the people of Trinidad and Tobago to band themselves together to put a halt to the “madness that is creeping over the land.” DOMA said in a statement, “To do otherwise will only cause our ships to end on the rocks of history and future generations to look back with shame at this generation that failed to answer this challenge that could have been so easily conquered with unity and teamwork.”

According to DOMA, it can only be assumed that the country is sinking lower into lawlessness, because of the horrors being reported each passing day. The business body claimed that the country is being wrecked internally, while the exterior shines with oil and gas lulling citizens into a false sense of security and hiding the decay that is progressing internally. DOMA claimed that new buildings and new cars cannot build a great society. “The foundation of a society is law and order,” it said. It noted that communities and families were being shredded to pieces by a small band of criminals who seem to be doing their deadly trade unchallenged. “Laventille, Petit Valley and Belmont do not deserve to be left to the whims of a small band of murderers,” said DOMA.
