I am sorry, dad
THE EDITOR: It was not my intention and certainly not my father’s to respond to a letter published on 17th instant in one of our dailies under the caption "What about $$ for Home, Jack?" but, having just received a letter dated 6th instant from the Cyril Ross Nursery, I thought that such misinformation as peddled to the general public in the said published letter ought not to be allowed to go uncorrected and unchallenged. I am left to wonder whether the author of the letter published in that daily has helped the Cyril Ross Nursery in any positive way or merely revels in tarnishing the image of those who render assistance without any fanfare or trumpet-blowing. He should definitely channel his energies into more productive pursuits. In closing, I wish to apologise to the Cyril Ross Nursery for having had to drag its name into this matter but merely hope to set the records straight. May I also apologise to my father, Jack Warner, for having not heeded his advice in this instance. DARYAN WARNER Bayshore
