$500 TOO HIGH TO FLY

THE EDITOR: I prefer that this Tobago Express be taken out of service than to ask the poor man to pay $500. For a ten minute ride on a plane. It is ridiculous. The proposed cost per ticket can feed a poor family for one (1) week. Who then can "take a plane" in an emergency from Tobago or Trinidad and return.

I strongly feel that rich people do not desire to travel on a plane with ordinary people as their is no first class seats on the Express. OK! Arrange certain flights for those who can pay $500. And all the other flights for those who can pay $200. This in my view is the real reason for the increase. Have you ever seen a rich person on the "Sonia" or the "Cat"? I rest.
