Imbert said Wrightson Road was now being called "The Bocas" because of its numerous ridges and depressions, and noted that it needed a complete rehabilitation. "It is now simply a case of re-sheeting. We will be removing the entire existing surface, rebuilding and then paving," he said. He added that a third lane would also be added to the road.

Imbert said that Government would be moving to create a modern four-lane highway system connecting all centres over the next fiscal year.
