Shot granny needs less visitors

Relatives of Gloria Mollick, the grandmother who was shot four times while being used as a human shield on Tuesday, is calling on members of the public to desist from visiting her at hospital.

The injured woman’s daughter Sharmaine Mollick yesterday said her mother is developing infections, and the doctors have advised that visitors be restricted so she can be allowed to rest.

"While we do appreciate the concern from members of the public, we are concerned about the well being and health of our mother, and we want her to get better soon," said Sharmaine. Officers investigating the shooting of Mollick and Osbourne Sylvester, who was shot five times, yesterday said an arrest is imminent.
