CURSING SOLDIER IN COURT

A SOLDIER will appear before a Sangre Grande magistrate tomorrow charged with obscene language, resisting arrest and possession of a weapon. According to reports, following information of a fight between two men, around 7.30 pm on Friday night police went to Eastern Main Road, Sangre Grande in the vicinity of Asram’s Auto Suppliers where they were greeted by the officer using obscene language. He was warned but continued his obscene assault. The man who had a broken bottle in his hand was subdued by the police who arrested him and charged him with the offences.
