Enill: A ‘Death March’ does not make sense
While Minister in the Ministry of Finance Conrad Enill has no difficulty with highlighting the problem of crime, he disagrees with the idea of a "Death March." Therefore, Enill stated, he would not attend tomorrow’s Death March organised by the Keith Noel Committee. His Cabinet colleague, Education Minister Hazel Manning, would also not be attending the Death March. Speaking at yesterday’s post-Cabinet news conference, Enill stated that a march against crime was different from a Death March. "This Government does not know what a Death March is. This Government is into the business of peace and life," he said, adding, "a Death March doesn’t sound as if it makes sense." I am about moving to positive things and things that add value," the minister stated.
