DEATH MARCH SENDS MESSAGE ON CRIME
Thousands of people came out to show their support to Saturday’s Death March organised by the Keith Noel 136 Committee led by Stephen Cadiz through the streets of Port-of-Spain. Representatives from the business community, family members who lost loved ones and average citizens took to the streets of the capital city in the hope that their solidarity against crime would send a message to those in authority to do something about it. The murder count now stands at 308, for the year 2005, the highest in history. Keith Noel, was murder victim 136, he was killed in his Regent Street home, on May 26.
